Donald McDonald House Niigata was decided to build in the premises of the Niigata University Medical and Dental Hospital and it will be the 12th in Japan and the first on the Sea of ​​Japan side.

Donations have begun, and we are also co-sponsoring this activity.

“Donald McDonald House” is a facility where children and their families a hospitalize away from home can stay together.

Their family will suffer from the financial burden of having dual life at home and in the hospital and the mental distress of living apart from their family.

It supports to reduce the burden and make users feel at home.

Also, it is administered by local “volunteers” and “funds” of many individuals and companies, so it will be available at a low price of 1,000 yen per person per day.

It is also said that accompanying their family will enhance the healing power of hospitalized children.
